Primary Prayer Focus: Let’s cry out for the children of Whatcom County and around the world these next two months! Let’s pray for salvation, for praise and prayer to arise from the children. Ps. 8:2
Church
-
Pray for the VBS gatherings in Whatcom County, including the Lummi and Nooksack tribes that many children would come to know the Lord.
-
Pray for the children’s pastors of our local churches. Pray for children to be equipped with greater vision and connection with Jesus.

Pray for a children’s equipping director for LOWPC.
Business
-
Pray for the farming communities in Whatcom County to flourish and prosper this summer (raspberry, dairy, etc). Pray for the land to produce a great harvest this year to strengthen the economy and produce jobs.
Education
-
Pray for our children ages 4-14 in our Christian schools to be trained in the knowledge of God.

Pray for the teachers of our schools to be men and women of prayer and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Government
-
Pray for God to empower our law enforcement agents to rescue children from human trafficking, child abuse, and domestic violence.

Pray for the 180,000 signatures to come for Referendum 74. Pray for pastors and leaders to equip their churches to vote and pray effectively.
Healthcare

Pray for chaplains to be blessed and encouraged through the Spirit, for them to be full of God’s heart for the hospital and patients, and to be full of faith in God’s goodness and strength through the Holy Spirit.

There are several openings in key leadership positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Pray for Godly men and women to fill each position.

Healthcare workers are beginning to connect on a broader scale. Please pray for increased prayer meetings, increased fellowship and desire to exalt Jesus in the workplace.
Media/Arts and Entertainment

Pray for films and training resources that would inspire children to follow Christ.

Pray for Kingdom Media to come forth from the World Prayer Assembly in Indonesia to call families and churches to prayer.
Family
-
Pray for the family altar of prayer to be restored around the dinner table, before school, or before bed: Parents praying for their children, and children learning how to pray. Pray that spouses would pray for one another.

Pray for Kidstown, a local child sponsorship ministry in Bellingham. Pray for children to be adopted on May 10/11th weekend at Bellingham Christ the King. Pray that parents would ‘learn how to pray’ for the kids they are sponsoring.
Strategic Missions

Pray for the World Prayer Assembly in Jakarta Indonesia, May 14-18th. The largest prayer gathering in church history will be convening 20,000 children ages 4-14. Pray for God to pour out His Spirit on this gathering like he did in Acts 2 for global harvest! www.wpa2012.org
